Mr. Scott Jantzi
Hello,
My name is Scott Jantzi and I am the Principal of Jefferson Middle School. Although I did not grow up in Jefferson, I feel connected to Jefferson because I grew up on a farm in a small rural community close by.
I love working in Jefferson and the staff and community have been very welcoming and supportive. I am also grateful to the community for the beautiful new building that we had the privilege of moving into in 2019!
2024-25 Back to School Information
First off, welcome to Jefferson Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year!
If you have notalready done so, you will need to go online to ParentVue to register your child(ren) for this year.

Thursday, 8/22/24 is “Taking Care of Business” day at all Jefferson schools.
Our hourswill be:
● 9:00 - 12:00
● 1:00 - 4:00
● 5:00 - 8:00
You will be able to:
● Get your student’s schedule
● Find out your student’s locker
● Pay fees
● Take school pictures (to pre-order go to the link below)

Important back to school dates for Jefferson Middle School Students
● Tuesday, September 3rd - 6th Graders only (plus 8th grade student WEB Leaders).
● Wednesday, September 4th - School for all students - school dismisses at 3:05 this first
Wednesday. Thereafter, class will dismiss at 1:35 (Early Release) for the rest of the
year on Wednesdays.
Dropping off students:
● JMS doors open at 7:30
● Use the drop off lane immediately to the left when you enter the parking lot. Do NOT
pull up in front of the school in the bus lane to drop off your students. Please pull
forward in the drop off lane to make space for other parents.
